At LJFS, our curriculum is designed with a clear intent to provide our students with a holistic and enriching educational experience. Our aim is to nurture and develop well-rounded individuals who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to thrive in an ever-changing world.

 

 

Our curriculum is built upon a strong foundation of academic excellence, ensuring that students acquire a deep understanding of all subjects, we believe in fostering a love for learning and encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity across all disciplines.

What subjects do we explore in our curriculum? We have a wide and varied curriculum at LJFS, we ensure the curriculum offered at KS3 secures the progression in learning to KS4 and beyond.

The start to LJFS is important to all student have lessons in “Resilience” moving forward into Y8 students have Music and Drama and all students have opportunities for literacy to be at the heart of all their learning.

We have a mixture of core subjects and Ebacc at KS4, students are encouraged to take a language and we offer for Science both the single science and combined science routes for students.
